‘Popular Culture, Geopolitics, and Identity’

Second edition of pioneering undergraduate text

‘Popular Culture, Geopolitics, and Identity’

Professor Jason Dittmer and Dr Daniel Bos (Oxford) have published a new edition of the only undergraduate textbook devoted to the field of popular geopolitics.

It updates the illustrative examples and incorporates key theoretical and empirical developments since the 2010 first edition, including assemblage thinking and the rise of social media.

The new edition also incorporates a chapter on methodologies to help students shape their own research projects.
