Outstanding results in Joint Degree

This summer, Agnes Norris Keiller, a second year BSc (Economics) student studying for the Joint Degree in Economics and Geography, was awarded not only the 1903 Prize in Geography and an Economics Sessional Prize, but also the UCL Faculty Undergraduate Scholarship for Excellence.

The Faculty Scholarship is awarded to the academically most outstanding  second year undergraduate student in UCL’s Social and Historical Sciences  Faculty.

As far as anyone can recall, this is the first time an Economics and Geography student has been awarded such prizes by both the departments and the Faculty.

Dr Jurgen Essletzbichler, Geography Tutor to B.Sc(Economics) students, comments, “Congratulations to Agnes for this outstanding academic achievement. It promises an equally successful third year, and we look forward to reading more of her excellent contributions!"
