Symposium funding and Pushpa addresses Save the Children meeting

Post-colonial conversations – UK and India

Dr Pushpa Arabindoo has been awarded funding from the UCL Grand Challenge of Intercultural Interactions Small Grants Competition. She will be collaborating with Dr. Tania Sengupta, at the Bartlett School of Architecture, on a curated symposium  Post-colonial conversations – UK/India: Built environment and spatial knowledge production, dissemination and discourse.

During the summer, Pushpa was also invited to speak at the International NGO Save the Children regional directors meeting. In her talk, Urban agendas: Consequences of an urban world, she outlined the emerging challenges of urbanisation and how this might influence the focus of International NGOs such as Save the Children.
