Richard Taylor gives keynote lecture at UNESCO Kovacs Colloquium

Groundwater and Global Hydrological Change

Dr. Richard Taylor delivered a keynote lecture, on Groundwater and Global Hydrological Change - current challenges and new insight, at the tenth George Kovacs Colloquium at UNESCO in Paris on July 2nd. The colloquium preceded the 19th Session of the Intergovernmental Council of the International Hydrological Programme of UNESCO, continuing a series of biannual international scientific meetings on the most challenging fields of water resources research, organised jointly by the International Hydrological Programme (IHP) of UNESCO and the International Association of Hydrological Sciences (IAHS).

These meetings commemorate the late George Kovacs, an established authority on hydrology, who served as Chairman of the Intergovernmental Council of IHP and as Secretary General and President of IAHS.
