Intelligent Social Systems Lab

Overview

We are an interdisciplinary lab based at University College London. We are interested in sensing, modelling, understanding and predicting human behaviour and dynamics in space and time, at different scales, using the "digital traces" we generate daily in our online and offline lives. We are not only interested in the theoretical aspects, but also in practical real-world applications.

You can find more information about the lab in the following website:

http://www.ucl.ac.uk/~ucfamus/lab

Current areas of interests include:

  • Human behaviour modelling using mobile and social data (smartphone data, cellular network data, social media, user-generated content, etc.);
  • Ubiquitous computing;
  • Networked systems and network science (with a particular focus on social networks and spatio-temporal networks);
  • Applied machine learning;
  • Digital health;
  • Data science for social good;
  • Security&privacy.
