Geovisualizing Consumer Behaviour

Professor Paul Longley, Director of  the Consumer Data Research Centre (CDRC), delivered a variety of keynotes in Seoul, South Korea, between 31 August – 2 September 2016.

The first, Geovisualisation of Consumer Behaviour: The Work of the Data Research Centre, opened the Smart Geospatial Expo in Seoul on 31 August. The three day Expo attracted some 10,000 visitors, including government ministers from several countries.

Paul also opened the International Conference on Geospatial Information Science on 2nd September, and gave guest lectures at Seoul National University and at Konkuk University.

In each address Paul discussed the work of the CDRC, focusing on the geospatial analysis of consumer data.

The events attracted enthusiastic interest, including considerable social media traffic.
