Peter Jones at EU Summer School

Governing Marine Protected Areas

On 24-25th September, Dr Peter Jones was invited to present a two day course on Governing Marine Protected Areas at the University of Murcia, Spain.

It was part of a summer school funded by the European Commission on Social, Economic and Institutional Perspectives on the Co-Management of MPAs. (see: http://www.mmmpa.eu/training02.asp)

The summer school is part of the Training Network for Monitoring Mediterranean Marine Protected Areas project. It drew 25 researchers from all over southern Europe and Peter’s section of the course drew on the theories and findings of the MPAG project.(See: http://www.mmmpa.eu/)
