Gail Davis is keynote speaker at Oslo Conference

Practices of contemporary laboratory animal welfare

Dr Gail Davies was invited to take part in a conference on Sentient Creatures: Transforming biopolitics and life matters, hosted by the University of Oslo on 15-17th September 2010.  Her keynote paper, entitled Caring for the multitude and multiple, explored questions of complexity and multiplicity in the practices of contemporary laboratory animal welfare.

This research emerges out of Gail’s ESRC Fellowship on Biogeography and Transgenic Life.
