Mark Maslin answers questions about Climate Change

Professor Mark Maslin was asked to respond to the public’s questions on climate change for the BBC World Service Newshour programme, ahead of the UNFCCC “Conference of Parties (COP) 21” meeting in Paris between 30 November and 11 December.

The questions included:

  • Why are we not trying to adapt to climate change?’
  • ‘Should we use nuclear power?’
  • ‘Can we use biofuels for airplanes?’
  • ‘Why don’t we have laws to ensure all newly built homes have solar panels?’.

You can listen to his answers to such the great questions on the BBC, at http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0391cc7
