Launch of new journal

Migration and Society

A new interdisciplinary journal, Migration and Society, has been launched by Dr Mette Berg (UCL Institute of Education) and Dr Elena Fiddian-Qasmiyeh (UCL Geography, Co-Director of the Migration Research Unit).

It will publish critical research that places migration in a wider societal, historical and geographical context.

The key theme of the inaugural issue in 2018 will be 'Hospitality and Hostility towards Migrants: Global perspectives' (see link below).

The Editorial Board includes leading figures representing diverse approaches to the study of migration from around the world, including MRU Co-Director Dr Claire Dwyer and member, Dr Hélène Neveu Kringelbach..

More information about the journal, including the Call For Papers for the inaugural issue, can be found at: http://www.journals.berghahnbooks.com/migration-and-society/
