Pushpa Arabindoo speaks at Asia House conference

The New Asian Middle Class

Dr Pushpa Arabindoo was invited to speak at The New Asian Middle Class signature conference, organised by Asia House, London on April 4th. The event sought to examine the demographic upheavals taking place across Asian emerging economies, based on two expert panels: The Demographic Dividend and Urbanisation Unleashed.

Pushpa’s presentation to the latter panel,  on Mobility and Infrastructure,  focused on the challenges arising from the growing mobility of the middle class in urban India.

The panels supported discussions amongst a range of experts from practice, think-tanks and research consultancies, academia and private sector investors, as well as state representatives.
