Unravelling past climates

ECRC team presents Science Museum ‘Lates’ event

On Thursday 24th April 2013, a team from the Environmental Change Research centre put on a demonstration called "Unravelling Past Climates" at a Science Museum 'Lates' event.

Armed with microscopes, coring equipment, a sediment core and microfossil specimens, Jonathan Holmes, Viv Jones, Nigel Cameron, Anson Mackay, WIll Gray, Alice Milner and Katy Wilson demonstrated climate reconstruction using microfossils from lake and ocean sediments.

The 'Lates' are themed 'adults only' evening events that take place at the museum on the last Wednesday of every month.
