Chris Brierley sounds alarm on Channel 4

Is Global Warming Quickening?

On March 14th, Dr Chris Brierley was asked to comment on the Channel 4 National Evening News about data released by NASA showing that February 2016 was the warmest month on record – far surpassing January, which itself already held the record.

The temperature of around 1.5oC above preindustrial values has wide-ranging implications for the recent UN agreement in Paris, which aims to stop global temperatures exceeding this level of change.
