UCL at the AAG 2008

Members of the Department will be presenting at the Annual Conference of the Association of American Geographers in April.

UCL at the AAG 2008

Nine UCL staff and six postgraduates will be presenting papers at the Annual Conference of the Association of American Geographers in Boston, Massachusetts, on 16-20 April 2008. UCL geography will also be organising its regular reception for friends and contacts at the Conference.

Professor Paul Longley will be one of two leading geographers on the panel for a Presidential Plenary Session at the AAG Meeting in Boston on April 16. The special session, organized by AAG President Thomas Baerwald, is entitled Opportunities and Challenges for Interdisciplinary Research. Paul, who is Professor of  Geographic Information Science at UCL, will focus on links between GIS and other disciplines.
