Rory Coulter joins UCL Geography

Housing careers, home ownership and family life

UCL Geography welcomes Dr Rory Coulter as Lecturer in Quantitative Human Geography.

Rory joins UCL from the University of Cambridge, where he has been a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Sociology.

His research examines how, why and when people move between households, dwellings and neighbourhoods over their life course.

He is currently completing an ESRC Future Research Leaders project, which explores how family background and family dynamics shape young adults' housing careers.

Rory holds MA (2009) and PhD (2013) degrees in Geography from the University of St Andrews.
