‘Refuge in a Moving World’ research network adopts new logo

UCL Geography student Abdurrahman Perez Mazhary has won the First Prize in the Refuge in a Moving World Logo Competition.

The winning logo will be used on Twitter and announcements for the various seminars, conferences, workshops and other events to take place as part of UCL's Refuge in a Moving World interdisciplinary research network.

Many congratulations to Abdurrahman, whose first prize will be a copy of the Oxford Handbook of Refugee and Forced Migration Studies, and also to Bianca Allen (from UCL's Development Planning Unit), who received the second prize for her design.

Refuge in a Moving World is an initiative of the UCL Institute of Advanced Studies, in collaboration with the Institute of Global Prosperity. It plans to encourage research-led examination of the current crises of protection across contemporary society arising from processes of forced migration.

The network is coordinated by Dr. Elena Fiddian-Qasmiyeh (Department of Geography and the UCL Migration Research Unit.
