Quaternary Research Association honours Rick Battarbee

Professor Rick Battarbee was recently awarded the Quaternary Research Association's highest award, the 2012 James Croll Medal, for his ground-breaking contributions to Quaternary Science.

The Medal is awarded to a member of the QRA who has not only made an outstanding contribution to the field of Quaternary Science, but whose work has also had a significant international impact.

Rick is recognised as one of the most outstanding members of the QRA, and for ensuring that his work bridged the gap between science and policy.

The full citation will be published shortly by the QRA.
