International urban teaching and research at UCL

We are very pleased to welcome Professor Sue Parnell, from the Department of Environmental and Geographical Sciences and the African Centre for Cities at the University of Cape Town. Sue is visiting the Geography Department and the Development Planning Unit at UCL for 7 months as a Leverhulme Visiting Professor. She will be presenting a Leverhulme public lecture later in the term as well as undertaking some teaching and other public lectures in the Geography Department and at the DPU.

Professor Parnell will also be working with Professor Jenny Robinson through the Urban Laboratory to support international urban teaching and research at UCL. She will be travelling to Manchester and Edinburgh to present Leverhulme public lectures and build links between UCL, the University of Cape Town and urban research groupings in those Universities.
