James Kneale writes in New Year 'Time Out'

Drinking in London

Dr James Kneale contributed a piece to the New Year issue of Time Out London on 'London's Hidden Drinking Problem'.  As well as including facts and figures on alcohol consumption, he described the ways in which the capital's drinking differs, both from the cliché of binge drinking and from other parts of the UK and Europe. He concludes by arguing that good pubs are important social spaces that can promote sensible drinking.
