Michael Hebbert on the London Crossrail Tunnel

27th February Frank Carter Lecture

Michael Hebbert on the London Crossrail Tunnel

Professor Frank Carter was one of the leading British geographical experts on Eastern Europe who worked both in the UCL Geography Department and the School of Slavonic and East European Studies.

After his untimely death in 2001, his wife Krystyna established a scheme of prizes for Masters dissertations and an Annual Lecture at UCL in his name.

This year’s Frank Carter Lecture will be given on:

Thursday 27th February

by Professor Michael Hebbert, of the UCL Bartlett School of Planning

on The tunnel linking East and West: London’s Crossrail.

Michael has for long been an expert on planning developments in London, and was author of London: more by fortune than design (1989).

The lecture will be given at 17.00 to 18.30 in Room 422, Roberts Building, UCL.
