Six month exhibition in UCL Octagon

Collecting - Knowledge in Motion

Dr Claire Dwyer is part of a team that has curated a new exhibition, Collecting - Knowledge in Motion, which is on in the UCL Octagon Gallery for the next six months.

The UCL academics, including colleagues from the Departments of Dutch and History, were invited to explore UCL's extensive art and museum collections to select items for exhibit.

The exhibition includes items as diverse as an overstuffed Bosc’s Monitor Lizard, a fourteenth century Jewish prayer book‘Agatha Christie’s picnic basket’, and a cabinet of miscellaneous UCL keys - all chosen to tell the story of UCL's collections as repositories of knowledge in motion.
