UCL hosts 11th International Conference on GeoComputation

GeoComputation 2011

UCL was host to over 120 visitors for the 11th International Conference on Geocomputation between 20th - 22nd July 2011. The conference followed the International Symposium on Spatio-Temporal Analysis and Data Mining, held over the previous three days under the auspices of the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS), Commission II WG3 (Spatial analysis and data mining).

 

Keynote addresses were delivered by Mike Batty (CASA, UCL), Keith Clarke (University of California, Santa Barbara), Stewart Fotheringham (National University of Ireland, Maynooth), Peter Nijkamp (Free University, Amsterdam) and Jo Wood (City University).

 

UCL Geography contributions were made by Muhammad Adnan, James Cheshire and Paul Longley.
