The Equiano Centre summer seminars

This year, The Equiano Centre has a new Summer Seminar Series, commencing on 7 May 2015 with:

In this seminar Dr Nadia Ellis (UC Berkeley) and Dr Gemma Romain (UCL) talk about their current work exploring Black histories and historical geographies in relation to sexuality, race, and identity. The session will be chaired by poet and writer Dante Micheaux.

The seminar takes place in LG04, 26 Bedford Way from 6pm to 7.30pm (with refreshments from 5.30pm).

A further seminar, taking place in June, will see Dr. Caroline Bressey, Director of the Equiano Centre, and Professor Vron Ware discuss their books, on Catherine Impey, and anti-racist activism.
