Peter Jones as Keynote Speaker at Brighton Sustainability Conference

'The Evolving Seas: Policy, climate change and local marine resources and ecology'

On April 15th Dr Peter Jones was a Keynote Speaker at a two-day marine planning conference in Brighton on 'The Evolving Seas: Policy, climate change and the impacts and opportunities for local marine resources and ecology'. He outlined the main aims of the new Marine and Coastal Access Act, considering some of the key issues and questions raised in relation to its implementation and the prospects for its effectiveness.

The conference was organised by Brighton & Hove City Council in collaboration with the University of Brighton, as the Brighton & Hove Sustainability Conference for 2010.
