National GIS Prizes for UCL
Muhammad Adnan and Alex Singleton gain top awards at GISRUK (2009)
Muhammad Adnan won the prize for the Best Young Researcher's paper, on 'Virtual Demographics' at the 17th Annual GIS Research (UK) conference, held in Durham on 1-3 April.
Alex Singleton also won the prize for the best mashup, for his education profiling tool on, 'Contextualising Educational Careers for Widening Participation in Higher Education', based on his current ESRC-sponsored research.
