Temitope D. T. Oyedotun
Temitope had his Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in Geography (First Class Hons) at Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko {AAUA}, Ondo State of Nigeria. He later proceeded to University of Lagos, Nigeria for an MSc in Geography (Hydrology Option) before going to University of Leeds, UK for another Master of Science, MSc, in Geographical Information Systems. He went back to Nigeria to start his career in his former University (Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State) as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Geography and Planning Sciences before coming back to UK to begin his research doctorate degree in Geography at University College London (UCL). He has received honours in his academic career some of which include:
- Best Student, Department of Geography and Planning Sciences, AAUA, 2004.
- Best Student of Faculty of Social and Management Sciences, 2004 Graduating Set.
- Best Student of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, 2004 Graduating Set.
- Adekunle Ajasin University Graduate Fellowship, 2007/2008
- British Government- University of Leeds Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Awards, 2008/2009.
- Education Trust Fund (ETF) Scholarship Awards, 2010/2011.
He is now a current research doctorate student with Coastal and Estuary Research Unit of UCL Department of Geography. His research focus is on 'Estuary-Coast Interaction and Morphodynamic Evolution'. He is being supervised by Dr Helene Burningham and Prof Jon. French. He is a postgraduate fellow of Royal Geographical Society and British Geomorphological Society.
