Aquatic Ecosystems at the Edge

On 18th June Martin Kernan gave a keynote presentation on 'Managing freshwater ecosystems and freshwater biodiversity under changing climate' at the Aquatic Ecosystems at the Edge: Managing for Sustainability conference in Victoria Canada.

The conference was the 11th Aquatic Ecosystems Health and Management Society Conference. Martin’s presentation summarised work undertaken as part of the EU Framework projects Euro-limpacs, REFRESH (both co-ordinated in UCL Geography) and BIOFRESH.

He gave a second presentation at the conference to highlight the results from one of several REFRESH case studies, on 'Adaptive strategies to Mitigate the Impacts of Climate Change on European Freshwater Ecosystems'
