Moving People, Changing Lives

Three UCL geography students were successful in the recent Migration Photography Competition ‘Moving People, Changing Lives’ organised by the UCL Environment Institute.

Constanza Frari, from the Global Migration Masters course was Commended for her picture ‘The city stands opposite a Roma Camp’.

Ruth Judge, studying for her PhD in Geography, was Commended for her picture ‘Traffic jam, Lahore, Pakistan’ .

Jin-ho Chung, also a PhD student in Geography, was Commended for his picture ‘Torn Village, Ethiopia’.

The photographs were exhibited at a reception on 19th March at UCL and shown again during the Norface Conference at UCL April 10-13th. They will also be exhibited at the Environment Institute Conference on June 17-18th.
