TOUCH invites Sandra Jasper to present her doctoral research at Café Oto in London
On 17th July Sandra Jasper presented part of her doctoral research at the music and performance venue Café Oto in London. Sandra took listeners on a journey through West Berlin's musical spaces of the 1960s-1980s, including the Philharmonie concert hall and Hansastudio.
Her presentation was part of an evening of talks & performances curated by London-based audio-visual organisation TOUCH.
Sandra’s research, based in the UCL Urban Laboratory, is on Cyborg Imaginations: Nature, Technology and Urban Space in West Berlin (1961-1989). She is drawing from diverse fields, including sound art, engineering and architecture. She also convenes "Stadtkolloquium" the UCL-based postgraduate urban research network.
