CNRS-CEIAS, France, invited Dr Pushpa Arabindoo to respond to papers presented at a panel session entitled Reconfiguring the fast growing city: Exploring the interaction between urban governance, mega-projects and settlement dynamics in cases from India and South Africa, at the Annual Conference of the European Association of Development Institutes (EADI), held this year at the University of York, on 19-22 September.
