Gail Davies speaks at the National University of Singapore

Competing Global Visions for Laboratory Animal Science

In September, Dr Gail Davies visited the National University of Singapore (NUS), hosted by Professor Lily Kong, Vice President (University & Global Relations) and Director of the Asia Research Institute. Gail presented a joint seminar to the Science, Technology & Society Clusters of the Asia Research Institute & Faculty of Arts and Social Science and the NUS Department of Geography. Her paper, 'Geography, Knowledge Production and Post Genomics', introduced the context and early analysis of her ESRC Fellowship research on the spatial dimensions of the production, circulation and regulation of genetically modified research animals, including a Singapore case study.
