Providing technical advice on UK international migration

Professor John Salt

The Migration Research Unit has received a contract from the Home Office to prepare a statistical report on UK international migration for the European Commission over the next 2-3 months. The work will be carried out by John Salt, Janet Dobson and Alan Latham.

John has also been appointed to the Advisory Panel of the Home Office's Economic and Resource Analysis (ERA) Group (ERA) for an initial period until spring 2010.
