Caroline Bressey wins Public Engagement prize for her work on the African diaspora

Mark Maslin also commended for disseminaton of research on climate change

Caroline Bressey wins Public Engagement prize for her work on the African diaspora

On 14 December. Dr Caroline Bressey became the first academic staff recipient of the new UCL Provost’s awards for public engagement, in recognition of her work on the African Diaspora in Britain. The new prizes recognise the work that people at UCL put in to sharing their research, teaching, and learning with public groups outside the university.

 

Professor Mark Maslin was also highly commended for the dissemination of his research on climate change.
