Professor Lowenthal to receive honorary doctorate
Professor David Lowenthal will also be presenting a paper at UCLA on 23rd May. On 27th May he is to receive an honorary doctorate from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
Professor David Lowenthal will participate in the 2008 von Humboldt event at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA): 'Landscapes: Iconographies and Beyond: A symposium and Memorial Celebration in Honour of Denis Cosgrove' on 23rd May. His paper is entitled 'Living with and looking at landscape'. Then on 27th May he will be in St John's to receive an honorary doctorate from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
