Geography and CASA awarded two ESRC CASE studentship awards

Professor Paul Longley, Professor Mike Batty, Dr Pablo Mateos and Dr Alex Singleton from the Department of Geography and the Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis (CASA) have been awarded two ESRC CASE awards.

Geography and CASA awarded two ESRC CASE studentship awards

One studentship is in collaboration with ESRI(UK) Ltd on the topic 'Measuring and monitoring population diversity and spatial concentration: GeoWeb2.0 solutions'. The second is with the Metropolitan Police Service on the topic 'Real time geodemographics for reassurance policing and crime prevention'. To be eligible for these fully funded PhD opportunities, potential applicants must be residents of the UK and possess a ESRC accredited Masters qualification.
